How do I place an order? + -

Click on a product photo or product name to see more detailed information.

To place your order, click “Add to cart” after entering the quantity you’re buying.

Remember to specify the exact variant you want if the product is a variable product.

Also, please don’t forget to enter the text you would want to be woven into your selected kente stole, in the custom fields provided, if you’re ordering a customizable stole.

Alternatively, you can send us a message to communicate what you want to be woven in your stole.

If you don’t want any of the stoles available in our customizable stoles options, you can design your stole, right here on elanafrique.com. We would make you exactly what you have designed.

Head over to the cart page and check if you’ve actually selected the exact products you want, in their exact quantities, and then proceed to “checkout”.

Remember to also provide the required information such as delivery address and select your preferred means of shipping.

Before clicking “Checkout” please check your order details carefully

If you want to add a new delivery address, click “Add a new address”. If you want to edit a current Delivery Address, click “Edit this address”.

After clicking “Checkout”, you will be automatically taken to the payment page.

Select your preferred means of making payment and make payment.

You would receive an email confirming your order. Your order tracking information will also be included in this email so that you can track your order.

why is my item on backorder? + -

A backorder is an order for an existing stole which is currently out of stock. If you would want to purchase a particular stole and its out of stock, we encourage you to pick another option from our extensive collection especially if the date you would use the stole is dangerously close to the day you're placing the order. However, should you have the luxury of time to wait for production to be completed for a stole that is out of stock, you can definitely go ahead with the backorder. Stoles that are out of stock are most likely to be already back in production and may be ready sooner than you expect, however we try to estimate the number of days that production will take and list the estimates in the product description pages for the purpose of referencing and scheduling. 

can i change my order? + -

Yes, you can change or even cancel your order 30 minutes after you place the order.

Go to “Your Orders”. Click “Cancel Items”.

NB: Select the checkbox next to each item you wish to remove from the order. If you want to cancel the entire order, select all of the items and click “Cancel” checked items when finished.

To change your order email sales@elanafrique.com within 30 minutes of placing the order.

NB: You have a maximum of 30 minutes after placing an order to cancel or change it. After that, the cancellation or change of an order is not possible.

do you offer price adjustments? + -

We offer quantity discounts on group or bulk orders. The discounts on group orders are outlined on the product description pages.

How long will it take for my order to arrive? + -

Once you confirm your order by making full payment on cataloged items they are dispatched as soon as possible (usually within a maximum of 2 business days).

The amount of time your custom order will take to be ready depends largely on the quantity you ordered and the design. Every stole is woven by hand. For bespoke orders, after making full payment, work immediately begins on the piece. Production time for bespoke Kente cloth varies for each cloth design. It may take as little as 2 working days for one Kente stole to be ready and as much as 5 months to produce kente stoles for a whole graduating year group of 4000+ graduands. When the production of your custom-made piece is completed, we would send you an image of the finished product before your order is shipped.

During public holidays (including Ghanaian public holidays since production happens in Ghana), both production and shipping may take a few extra days.

We, however, promise to do our best to make and send your orders as soon as possible.

Can I get a stole custom designed? + -

Yes. We have worked with many seniors to create unique pieces for their big day.
The process starts with a design consultation. We take information from you, on what you want…
what you have in mind… and create a design for you. Once agreed on, payment is made in advance and work is began on your stole. You will get images and updates in the course of production. Better still, you can design your stole yourself, right here on our website. We would make you exactly what you’ve designed.

I need a custom stole in a hurry. Can you help? + -

If you require your stole sooner, there will be a 40% charge for “rush order”. In that case we could get your single custom order ready within 2 working days of ordering. The timing for completion of “rush bulk orders” would largely depend on the number of pieces contained in the bulk. Kindly contact us and let’s discuss the details.

However, if you would need your stole within a shorter time than our rush order completion time for the number of stoles you want, we have yet another offer for you. We have a number of generic stoles you could pick from. We would customize them for you within a day, using digital embroidery.

what payment methods do you accept? + -

We accept payments through both Stripe and PayPal; two secure online payment processing platforms. When paying via Stripe, you have the opportunity to use a variety of Master and Visa cards (both debit and credit cards). Paying with PayPal requires that you have a PayPal account with a balance.

In case, it’s not convenient to talk on the phone or online, you can come to our store to make your request.
