ORDER PROCESSING
- We understand that graduation stoles are time-sensitive merchandise, and considering the fact that they are handmade, we advise that you order your stole(s) well ahead of your shoot or graduation.
- Ready-To-Wear pieces which are still in stock would be shipped on the same day they’re ordered, from any of our outlets closest to your shipping address, to cut down on shipping costs. This policy, however, is largely influenced by which of our outlets has your ordered piece(s) in stock. Any order placed after 12pm GMT will be processed the next business day.
- Ready-To-Wear pieces which are out of stock can be back-ordered. In this case, the stole would actually be handwoven for you after you have made the purchase. This also applies to Made-To-Order and Bespoke stoles.
- Please note that production time is not the same as shipping time. A production day is an actual business day and not a holiday or weekend day. Remember that the stoles are woven in Ghana, hence Ghanaian holidays would also not count as production days. Your stole will be shipped once production is completed.
- All back-ordered RTW stoles, Made-To-Order stoles, and Bespoke stoles would be shipped from Ghana. Kindly take note of the estimated number of days after shipping that your order will take to arrive. This has been stated against the various shipping options at checkout. We would not be held liable for any delays or hold-ups on the part of your selected shipping courier. Once your order is handed over to the couriers, we have no power over what happens afterward. We can however reach out to them and make inquiries on your behalf upon your request.
RUSH ORDERS
- Most of our black RTW stoles and some black Made-To-Order stoles can be RUSH PRODUCED in as little as one business day if you’re purchasing one or two pieces! Some of our stoles, especially those that have digitally embroidered detailing may take about 4 days to rush produce.
- If you are in a rush, we suggest you choose a premium shipping option at checkout.
- We ship most orders complete, so if you rush one item and not the other, your order may be held up. In instances like this, we advise that you make the rush purchase separately.

Custom made orders
We take great care and pay attention to detail in the production of our products and our policy is to ensure that all products supplied reach you in perfect condition.
As the majority of our designs are handmade to order, we are always happy to advise customers regarding colour matching and aesthetics prior to placing an order.
Elanafrique does not accept returns on custom made orders ie. items which have been made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised for the consumer with bespoke designs and inscriptions.
If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly work with you to re-make a new design of your preference. However, due to the nature of the production process, a completed piece cannot be modified.
Deposits paid towards custom made items are non-refundable.
Ready to wear
We hope that you love your Elanafrique piece. If for any reason, the product does not meet your expectations, you can return it to us unused, in its original condition and with all the tags, for a refund within 14 days of receipt.
Please note:
- Shipping costs will not be refunded.
- There are no returns or exchanges on discounted items.
- Cost of shipping for returns is not the responsibility of Elanafrique.
Once your return is received and reviewed, we will send you a confirmation email, letting you know if your return has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 working days.
We appreciate your feedback. Please contact us telling us why you aren’t satisfied with your purchase and we’ll provide you with the necessary return details and address. Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
Colour accuracy
We ensure that our colour matching is a good representation of the actual colour, however, colours may vary due to screen resolutions or suppliers thread batches. This is not classed as faulty or defective.
